It is important to note that Jesus in Luke’s Gospel for this week is being descriptive, rather than prescriptive.  Jesus, whose role among us according to Luke, is to “guide our feet in the way of peace” (1:79), is describing what he sees in the world around him. I danced in the chapel last night.

I danced in the chapel last night. After corporate worship, after wine
