Welcome to Epiphany!
We are happy you chose to worship with us this morning. Please sign the Guest Book at the back of the church.
Announcements for the Week of Sept. 5, 2010
The flowers on the altar today are given by Jim and Anne Oney in celebration of their 44th wedding anniversary.
Please join the congregation after the worship service for our Coffee Hour. Today is our 1st Sunday Pot Luck and next week the treats will be brought by the families with last names E through K.
New worship opportunities coming this fall: Wednesdays, Noonday Prayers begins Sept 8 and Sundays, 6:00pm, Evening Prayer with Eucharist begins Sept 12.
We are very grateful for the $59,000 received for the building fund for our Warm Springs Building Project. We also have a ways to go to reach the $150,000 that will be required for us to be able to purchase our own building for our church home. We have a wonderful opportunity for a new home to house our worship, church school, and parish community activities. I am asking everyone again to prayerfully consider what they may contribute and to let me know as soon as possible what their gift may be. Carolyn Sabo, chairperson.
The Building Committee needs your input! Come to a meeting next Thursday, 9/9/10, 6-8 pm at church to offer your input on the Needs/Wants/Wishes you have for our next facility. If you are unable to participate in this meeting, please speak with a vestry member, or e-mail teamburton@cox.net, to offer your suggestions.
Our nursery is in need of volunteers! We would like to utilize a much larger group of volunteers, so that no one has to give up their worship time too often. If you could help even occasionally, please see Rebecca.
The Education Committee is seeking donations for the three Sunday School Classrooms and the Nursery at Epiphany. If you are able to donate any of the following items, your support is greatly appreciated: Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, Clorox disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer, tissues, white card stock, construction paper, and white copy paper. You can give the items to Betty-Jeanne Cousins, Christine Eastburn, or Rebecca Dixon. Thank you very much for supporting Epiphany's children!
There will be a marketing meeting after the service on Sept. 12 for about 30 minutes. See Barbara Aalberts for details.
Epiphany Car Wash: We will have our first ever off-site car wash on Saturday 09-18-10 from 11am to 3pm on the SW corner of Sunset & Stephanie, in front of Port o' Subs. Please take an envelope with 8 tickets and sell to friends, family, co-workers and wealthy strangers. Labeled donation envelopes can be returned to Rose Stams or Rob McPeak.

Adult Activities
The next meeting for the Book Club is Sept 28. They will read “Nickel and Dimed” by Barbara Ehrenreich.
