The Rev. Helen McPeak
Priest in Charge

Fr. Helen, a life-long Episcopalian, moved to the Las Vegas valley with her two sons, Kinnon and Douglas, and husband, Rob in 2004. This Northern California native received her BS in Animal Physiology from UC-Davis in 1989 and her Master of Divinity from the Church Divinity School of the Pacific in 1997.

Her priesthood results from decades of steeping in church life in local parishes, summer camps, campus ministry, and sundry other bits of Church. Her ordained ministry began as Assistant Rector for Children, Youth and Family in Kenwood and then Sonoma in the northern California wine country and included time as Chaplain at an Episcopal Homes Foundation LifeCare facility and at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. Rob's employment brought the family and her ministry to southern Nevada.

Her passion is spreading the Good News of God in Christ Jesus through word and action. Her authentic presence, skillful sincerity, and grounded energy make Helen an inspiring leader for our growing Church.

Deacon Sam

Deacon Sam has been with Epiphany since its inception in 2004. This Nebraska native and his wife, Edna, split their time between Henderson and Omaha. He is very proud of being a part of this church and is happy to see it grow into such a diverse congregation.

You can find Sam involved in a number of different ministries, but watch out when he's in charge of the Blood Drive becomes there's no getting by this man on a mission!.
