Announcements for the Week of May 19, 2013
The flowers at the altar today have been given by Matthew and Jeanne E to the glory of God and in honor of the birthday of the Church and in celebration of their 23rd wedding anniversary.
Kings and Prophets, a Bible Study led by Fr. Mike, and our midweek Eucharist on Wednesdays are on hold while Fr. Mike recovers from surgery. There will be lay led Noon Day Prayer service on Wednesday at 11:30 AM.
The Talent Show is this evening, dessert at 5:45, show begins at 6:30. This is a combined event with St Timothy's, Epiphany and St Matthew's at St Tim's and is a fundraiser for the youth summer trip to Navajo Land. Everyone is invited! Tickets are $10.
The quarterly Newcomer's luncheon will be Sunday, May 26, after the 10 am service. If you are relatively new to Epiphany and have not attended please plan to stay so we can answer any questions you may have about who we are and give us an opportunity to get to know you better.
The summer camp sessions at Galilee are filling fast! Some sessions will be full by early June so please get your registrations in soon! The sessions for kids ages 7-16 are all still open, and there is some room left in Family Camp. There is campership money available for those families in need.
Vestry Minutes are available to take home. Copies are on bulletin board by front door, please feel free to take one home.
Report to the Parish from the Search Committee:
I am the Vestry Liaison to the Search Committee and am excited about our search progress. We interviewed 167 individuals and the Vestry assembled the State of the Parish Report. We are beginning a lengthy process of using this information to compile our Parish Profile. We have to take our time and get this right. The Parish will be getting regular updates from the Search Committee, same time next Sunday. Elsa T
