There is a lot going on at Epiphany which is why we post our weekly bulletin here. And, we'll always highlight our most important events throughout the website. Announcements for the Week of February 19, 2012

We welcome The Rt. Rev Dan Edwards, Bishop of the Diocese of Nevada, and his wife Linda to Epiphany this morning.

Jerry and Carol W have given the flowers at the altar this morning to the glory of God in honor of their 33rd wedding anniversary, Feb. 17th.

Thank you to families who contributed a treat for Coffee Hour today. Next week families with last names S - Z will have the opportunity to bring a something to share.

The Marketing meeting is today. Please join us after the 10AM service if you are interested in helping us spread the word about Epiphany. Contact Barbara A if you have any questions. We hope to see you there.

Tuesdays of Lent:

Please join us for the February 21st Shrove Tuesday Pancake Races & Supper (at 5:30 & 6:00pm). B.Y.O.Spatula!

Then come each Tuesday, February 28 – April 3 for a Lenten Supper & Program (6:00 pm – Simple Supper & 6:45 – 8:00pm – Presentation & Conversation). Playfully entitled Faith in Film, our study this year will examine some of the basic tenets of an Episcopalian approach to Christianity. Viewings and discussions will complement personal conversation about our faith. Childcare is available if arranged in advance.

Ash Wednesday Eucharists at 12 noon and 6 PM Wed Feb 22.

"Still Listening" bible study is going on hiatus from Tuesday, February 21 through Easter, resuming Tuesday April 17 to allow everyone to attend the pancake supper and the Tuesday evening Lenten study.  If you have any questions, please see Carol T.

Elder Formation Workshops will be offered from 1-5 on March 25 at Christ Church, Las Vegas. This workshop is for all clergy and laity who are involved or interested in our elder community. For info or to register contact Chuck McCray at frensdorff.school@gmail.com.

The food pantry at Christ Church is in need of nonperishable staples for the needy in the community. Please pick up extra cans or boxes when you are shopping. Place them in the basket at the altar and they will be delivered to the food bank. While we share our bounty at the March 4th potluck, consider bringing peanut butter to share with the needy.
